An iphone app just released by Toktumi carries a $1 price tag but adds Line2, another line with a $15 service charge per month but unlimited calling via wi-fi. This allows the user to take advantage of Line2 when an internet signal is available, saving minutes from the phone plan. The article calls it a "game changer." I haven't heard of this app before, but it sounds like an innovation that could really take off and cause cell phone companies some grief. Who knows, maybe someday phone service will be even more similar to internet service. It appears like Toktumi is helping make a step in that direction.
